Entering the 21st Century Entry into the 21st century was hallmarked by the opening of a 25,000 square foot Supercenter and Training Facility in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The Supercenter employs an assembly-line concept of auto body repair utilizing teamwork and quality control checkpoints throughout each stage of the repair. The facility is specially staffed and equipped to handle heavily damaged vehicles. The Supercenter features 42 individual vehicle workstations and a training center designed for employee classroom education including I-CAR and ASE training.
A problem that has plagued our industry for years is that heavily damaged vehicles consume valuable space, which negatively impacts cycle times,” said Joseph P. Tornetta, now retired former COO for CollisionMax. “With the Supercenter we can specialize in the high-quality repairs of heavily damaged vehicles while allowing our other facilities to concentrate on the small to medium size damages, realizing significant productivity gains and improving customer satisfaction at each of our ten service centers.”
